This website is dedicated to preservation of the Macintosh
gaming history. This includes high-resolution scans of box
covers, screenshots, and any material that came with the games
when they were released. Also eventually this will include
game reviews, walkthroughs and technical hints related to the games.
This website does NOT and will not host ANY downloadable copies
of the actual games! This is because so-called abandonware
status of any old software is still controversial topic and I don't
want make the legality of this project questionable.
The lifespan of the original and true Macintosh began as long ago
as 1984 until the beginning of 21st century. Since then, thousands of
commercial games have been published for the platform, but only a
fraction of them are known by even the most enthusiastic Macintosh
hobbyists, gamers and other retrocomputing fans - the final goal of
this website is to build a database of any game released for
Macintosh since the 128K to last computer to run Mac OS 9.
